I am now going to blog on a topic related to exit signs. It was very interesting to read about the EXIT SIGNS.Exit Sign or signs that are permanently fixed in place and used by people to identify means of escape. Often used in buildings or shopping centers.Device is part of the building that can not be ignored. And should be used with the strength of the electric power sparingly and not spend energy. Because the exit sign lights also affect the comfort and also to the effect of air pollution if the size does not match the power requirements.

    Exit sign is just a device that can be found in all public places such as airplane, buildings, hotels and etc. that represents where the exit is. These exit signs are to be considered as a safety tool which guides the people to safety areas when an emergency situation such as fire arises. Environmental Protection Agency of United States announced that it suspends the Energy Star specification for exit signs effect from May 1, 2008 as part of Energy Policy Act (EPAct) after cautious consideration with that of the input from their stakeholders. The main reason why Energy Policy Act (EPAct) wished-for suspension of Energy Star specification for Exit sign is that, with that of their research they came to know that the performance and durability of sign could be conciliated if the input power goes below 5 watts per sign. And decided to suspend it without continuing it and has come up with alternatives like self-luminous exit signs and other better ones.
